How to Make Motherhood Easier- A Practical Tip
“The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.”
Proverbs 21:5
A couple of months ago, our man of God said this in church one day- “Plan your day; if you don’t plan your day, the devil will plan your day.”
We have often heard how it is important to plan our day. Yet, many of us don’t plan our day. We believe we know what the day holds and then take the day as it comes.
As a mother of twin toddlers, I always had something to do at any given point of time. Hence, I never considered planning to be advantageous for me. However, that led me to focus only on what was in front of me, and I missed out on many other priorities.
But, when I heard my spiritual father teach on the importance of planning, I took hold of this Word and decided to put it into action. I got a pretty journal for myself and began planning each day. And ever since I have been planning my days, I began to see order coming into every area of life.
Mamas, we have a lot of things going on each day; we have multiple responsibilities on our shoulders. We as daughters of God are called to be excellent in every area that God has entrusted us with- in our workplaces, raising no ordinary children, being a godly wife, being an excellent homemaker and much more. God has given us the grace and anointing to do well in every area.
One practical way in which we can ensure excellence is by planning our day. Since I began planning my day I began to see much order coming into my life. Furthermore, it has made motherhood easier for me.
Planning brings awareness on priorities that would otherwise be missed on an unplanned day. What I couldn’t do earlier due to lack of time, I am now able to do as a result of planning my day.
Planning led to things coming in order. And when things began to come in order I began to see God giving me ideas and wisdom that upgraded me as a mother and a homemaker.
Dear mothers, planning your day helps! Plan your days and then commit your plans to the Lord. He will establish it and make you succeed.
“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”
Psalm 37:5-6
