How Your Motherhood Is Redefined With God

Motherhood is wonderfully orchestrated by God to express His love and care for a new life. And in Christ Jesus, you, No Ordinary Mothers, redefine motherhood to the world around you.
Your Motherhood is …
Ordained by God:
You were appointed, set apart for motherhood even before you knew it. Just as Samson, Samuel, John the Baptist was set apart for a purpose in their lives their mothers were ordained to bring them up to fulfil God’s purpose in their lives. Similarly, you are designed to raise a generation who will dare to walk with God in Spirit and in Truth.
“For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.” – Psalm 139:13
A Blessing:
In the covenant relationship of marriage, motherhood is the most beautiful blessing. Your children are a blessing who upgrade you to a higher call to fulfil the Kingdom purpose.
A Calling:
Your motherhood is a calling to carry your children into unreceptive territory. You are called to raise up a generation that boldly stands on the Word of God and profess His love to the nations. You stand with them, defend them and openly testify God’s values by refusing the values of the world.
So, they will be called the trees of righteousness [strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God],The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. – Isaiah 61:3
Full of Hope:
The Kingdom purpose is never disappointing. Your obedience in bringing up your children in the ways of the Lord gives you eternal hope. No matter how unsuccessful your motherhood seems hope in the Lord never disappoints.
Full of Joy:
Failures, challenges, and circumstances at the moment may seem dark and far away from giving joy but don’t ever forget that your motherhood with God can never bring despair. You will see joyful days when your children will independently walk in the Truth and declare the love of God just as you did.
Worthy of Honour:
Your motherhood is greatly honoured by God and that is why it is the only commandment given to children with a promise. God commands your children to honour you just because He values all that you do for your children.
Honour [esteem, value as precious] your father and your mother [and be respectful to them]—this is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may be well with you, and that you may have a long life on the earth. – Eph 6: 2,3
As you selflessly nurture your children in Christ never ever forget your worth. You are worthy of praise for all that you do. You are precious in God’s sight and He strengthens you through all your battles. You are never alone on this journey; He is closer to you than you expect.
