PORN HUB – Removed from Instagram

Finally It’s Achieved                                                                                                            This came after many years of hard work Instagram removes Pornhub (with 13M followers) from its platform for “violating its community standards.

Allies including the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, Collective Shout, Courtney’s House, Defend Dignity, Exodus Cry, and Justice Defense Fund spent hours with Instagram executives sharing evidence of Pornhub’s criminality and requesting the social media company remove Pornhub from their platform.

This is wonderful news, but The Main Concern Towards Instagram:

1)Why Porn Hub Was Allowed

2)Why Minors Were Offered Jobs In That Industry

3)Why were they given Instagram’s ‘blue check’ verification (essentially an endorsement from Instagram) when there was so much evidence of illegal activity against children and adults?

This is a perfect example of how Big Tech firms are capable of improving the content and safety of their platforms, but won’t do so unless they are forced by legislation or shamed with a great deal of social pressure.
