Thailand to allow same-sex couples to marry from January 2025
Thailand’s king has signed a landmark marriage equality bill into law, making the kingdom the first country in Southeast Asia to recognise same-sex marriages.
The legislation is set to take effect in 120 days, meaning LGBTQ+ couples will be able to register their marriage in January next year.
Mass weddings are planned for more than a thousand LGBTQ+ couples in Bangkok on January 22, the first day the law takes effect.
Once the law takes effect, Thailand will become the third Asian jurisdiction after Nepal and Taiwan to legalise gay marriage.
Can you imagine the impact of this demonic legislation on little children in Thailand and to what extent it can damage their identity?
Remember the next step to gay marriage is the efforts of the “married couple” to adopt children.
