How God Will Throw Children in the River
An “earthquake” Supreme Court decision in the US last week has reversed a 50-year precedent which had said that American women had a constitutional right to an abortion.
The extraordinarily rare move will allow more than half of states to ban abortion, with an immediate and enduring impact on tens of millions of Americans.
The last 50 years have seen abortion kill more than 70 million babies.
That’s heart breaking beyond words!
Even as we celebrate this huge victory, know this for sure, powers of darkness are constantly at war against our children.
Have a look at this recently released shocking video byte where South African television and radio journalist Lara Logan speaks about a global cult whose objective is to “eradicate God” by “eradicating children.”
But here’s the Good News!
Recently I was dwelling on the story of Moses and was particularly thinking about River Nile in Egypt. At that time Pharaoh had decreed that all the Israeli baby boys were to be thrown into the Nile, because he feared that they might become too powerful. (Exodus 1:22)
My heart couldn’t contain the dismay and disgust as I imagined the waters of this river that at one point in history consumed thousands of babies.
This is when I heard the Lord say, “Now it’s my turn to fling babies and children in the river. This is going to be the revival river, where little ones will carry my glory.
This word caused a leap in my spirit and I screamed an AMENNNN…..
If you are screaming amen too (in other words believing with me), it’s a good place to seek God as a parent or teacher or someone who has a burden for children’s ministry and ask Him, “Lord, where do I fit in?”
How can I be partaker (and not spectator) of this move?
How can I ensure that my children and those connected with me not miss what is coming?
Like Moses’ parents who partnered with God in preventing Moses from perishing in the waters of Nile, how can I partner with God to make sure our children get caught in the river of revival?
May this post stir up a desire in your heart to raise no ordinary children, who walk with the Living God.
